As the image of the protagonist actor is the most important feature on the front cover, I wanted it to be in front of the masthead rather than it being blocked by it. Photoshop was used to cut around the border of the image as it allowed a better quality than was available on Sketch, it was then superimposed in front of the masthead. This allowed my image to stand out more against the other surrounding text and does not affect the legibility of the masthead either.
